Yoga

Sarah teaches yoga classes to adults and children. Her teaching style is both nurturing and challenging. She encourages people to develop their awareness of their breath and bodies as a tool for waking up more to their lives. Our bodies are our vehicles and they should be celebrated! Sarah encourages releasing what we don't need to hold on to and opening up to receiving what we need in our lives.

Sarah loves teaching yoga to kids. Children are natural yogis! Her kids' yoga classes are about encouraging kids to be kids and to be comfortable with themselves.

Sarah's main influence has been traditional Ashtanga yoga. In 2005 she and her husband spent two months studying yoga with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois at the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute in Mysore, India. (Check out the travel pages for the blog on their travels and yoga studies!) She received her teacher training at the Center for Yoga in Los Angeles, California.

Currently she teaches privately to her students at their homes.
